Tom has an extensive background in editorial operations of both traditional and new media companies. Previously, he served in key programming positions at Yahoo and AOL. He helped lead video strategy as general manger of Video@AOL, and earlier served as National Editorial Director of AOL Local, creating content for a city guide network of 300 markets. He also has been Director of Content for Yahoo Broadcast, where his team launched the Live@Yahoo video concert series. Tom was the Editor and Publisher of Broadcast.com at the time of Yahoo’s purchase of the company. He began his career in newspapers, and spent eight years as the Arts Editor of The Dallas Morning News. He holds a journalism degree in the broadcast sequence from The University of Texas at Austin.
