Toivo Annus

Toivo leads ASI’s technology investments, and is closely involved in managing several portfolio companies post-investment.

Prior to ASI, Toivo was the co-founder of communication software company Skype, where he built and led a world-class engineering organization of 120 team members. He has extensive experience with emerging technologies and maintains a very broad as well as deep understanding of the tech sector.

While his ability to work 24/7 is legendary, Toivo knows how to enjoy life too, be it in the company of good friends, charging around in his ATV, or on the squash court.

He holds a degree in economics from Tallinn University of Technology.
