Tod Sacerdoti is the CEO and founder of BrightRoll, the industry’s largest video advertising network.
Sacerdoti has served as an evangelist for agencies seeking to transition to online video. In a series of industry firsts, BrightRoll has eliminated rich media fees and established a proprietary HD advertising unit, helping advertisers not only match but surpass the reach, engagement and measurement of TV campaigns.
Sacerdoti also openly predicted the resurgence of the pre-roll unit and in August 2008, BrightRoll supported this claim by announcing the execution of the online video advertising industry’s first $1M pre-roll video campaign.
As a writer, Sacerdoti maintains a regular online video advertising column in AdAge, an advertising and marketing industry magazine. His byline also regularly appears in MediaPost’s VideoInsider column.
Prior to founding BrightRoll, Sacerdoti served as the director of revenue at Plaxo.
Previously, he led business development at Spoke Software, an Internet pioneer in sales and marketing efficiency solutions and also held positions at Interscope, Geffen and A&M Records, a division of the Universal Music Group. P
rior to this, Sacerdoti worked as an investment banker in the Internet marketing group at Robertson Stephens.
