Tobias Peggs is the General Manager at OneRiot, the realtime search engine company.
Peggs has spent 10+ years in both consumer web and enterprise software industries.
Prior to OneRiot, Peggs led strategic initiatives at Netdecisions where he directed cross-functional teams in the US, UK and India. At Netdecisions he built and ran several dot.coms with joint venture partners (TheFirstResort.com – sold to Tui, WooWho.com – sold to match.com, MadAboutWine.com – sold to Diageo). He also took sophisticated speech recognition software products to market (Fluency – sold to Syntellect), and delivered high-impact business consulting services to large enterprises including Wells Fargo and Invensys.
Previously Peggs worked at i-D Magazine (TimeOut Group, UK) where he served as managing editor.
Peggs holds a PhD in Search Algorithms from Cardiff University, UK and obtained a First Class Hons Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University. He currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
