Tim is a Founding General Partner with ENIAC Ventures with two successful startups to date and over twelve years of experience working with early stage ventures as a venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and venture/IP attorney.
While at Metropolitan Venture Partners (MVP), Tim joined MVP portfolio company Quoteship.com, which was subsequently acquired by Logistics.com (an Internet Capital Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: ICGE) venture). Tim founded Bridge Consulting, based in Beijing, China, which offered language software to Fortune 500 corporations. While at Bridge, Tim reengineered the business strategy, which led to a successful exit. While at Morrison & Foerster, Tim counseled a variety of early stage companies and venture funds in deal structuring, intellectual property, and licensing/commercial transactions. As the Director of Business Development for Korean Business Consultants, he led a deal to bring the first internet connection to hospitals and universities in Pyongyang, North Korea. Tim began his career as a software engineer at both Exxon Research & Engineering and Mobil Technology Company.
Tim received his Bachelors of Science in Engineering in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a cancer research grant from Bristol-Myers Squibb. He received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2006. Tim is a member of the State Bar of California, District of Columbia, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
