Tim splits his time between RAND, where he consults on security subjects, and Inflection Point. At Inflection Point, Tim was the first institutional investor in http://www.sourcefire.com, http://www.fidelissecurity.com, http://www.infoether.com, http://www.intrapoint.com, and other interesting stuff.
Prior to IPV, Tim was a special advisor to Patricof & Company Ventures, Inc, and a founder of Embryon Capital. Before moving into venture capital, Tim spent ten years at RAND, where he built the Critical Technologies Institute, and worked on defense and intelligence strategy and technology. Earlier in his career, Tim built spacecraft systems for General Electric.
