Tim Hoogheem, Chief Financial Officer, has a wealth of experience in finance and operations of venture-backed companies. He coordinates financial, legal and administrative matters for Boulder Ventures. In addition, he plays an active role advising and assisting the Fund’s portfolio companies regarding finance, accounting, borrowing, insurance, employee benefits and other administrative and operations issues.
Mr. Hoogheem was most recently Chief Business and Financial Officer of ARCA Discovery, Inc., a BVIV portfolio company focused on developing and commercializing genetically-targeted therapies for heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases. Prior to joining ARCA, he was Executive Vice President, Finance and Operations and Chief Financial Officer of Dharmacon, Inc., another BVIV portfolio company. Dharmacon was sold to Fisher Scientific International Inc. in April 2004.
Mr. Hoogheem also has held senior management positions at ChannelPoint, Inc., Somatogen, Inc., McData Corporation and Storage Technology Corporation.
Mr. Hoogheem began his career at Price Waterhouse & Company. He is a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign.
