With over 16 years of technical management and experience building large scale, high transactional infrastructure and applications, Tim Baur is working at Sencha building cloud services for HTML5 applications. Additionally he is an advisor to Tristorm Product Design (Tiipz.com) and Ping Identity Corporation. Tim was responsible for overseeing and implementing Mobio’s technology strategy, as the CTO. He focused on building the Mobio services, ensuring scalability and consistency between end-user, business and engineering requirements. Prior to Mobio, Baur was the Vice President of Engineering at MovieSet, developing a next generation social media platform for behind-the-scenes film production. As the Director of Engineering Operations for Sxip Identity, he managed systems, security and the development of the Sxip Access product line, which was sold to Ping Identity. Prior to that, Baur was an information security consultant with HSBC. Here he ensured compliance with processes for managing operational risk and worked on identity management and standards development. Prior to HSBC, he held senior management positions with both RSA Security and Xcert International Inc.
