Thai Tran was the co-founder of Lightbox, a developer of mobile applications and services based in London.
Previously, Thai was Product Manager at YouTube where he was responsible for partnerships with European TV broadcasters, the revenue sharing program for independent video creators, and several other monetization initiatives.
Prior to that, he was Product Manager for Google Maps and lead the product through its initial growth phase.
In 1999, Thai co-founded VivaSmart with Amr Awadallah. VivaSmart was acquired by Yahoo! in 2000 and became the content management system for Yahoo! Shopping.
Thai holds a BS and MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
