Terry Semel was chairman and CEO of Yahoo from April 2001 to June 2007. Previously he worked at Warner Brothers for 24 years as chairman and co-chief executive director.
He resigned from Yahoo under pressure from shareholders who were dissatisfied with his performance and compensation. He retains the title of non-executive chairman and advisor to Yahoo.
