Terren Peizer, is currently the chairman of Crede Capital Group, an investment company that has provided capital commitments and funding in excess of 910 million dollars to publicy traded companies since its June of 2009 inception. Peizer is also the chairman of Acutas Capital Group, a private equity company that recently lead the purchase and funding of V2VGlobal Inc.
Raised in Beachwood, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, Peizer has been the largest beneficial stockholder and has held various senior executive positions within several technology and biotech companies. He has assisted companies by assembling management teams, boards of directors and scientific advisory boards, formulating business and financial strategies, and investor relations. Mr. Peizer has a background in venture capital, investing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and previously held senior executive positions with the investment banking firms Goldman Sachs , First Boston and Drexel Burnham Lambert . Mr. Peizer received his B.S.E. in Finance from The Wharton School of Finance and Commerce.
Over the years, Terren Peizer has frequently noted the importance of his family and his Ohio upbringing in various interviews. He has stated that his half brotherâ€™s problems with addiction spurred him to found Hythiam, and has named his investment companies after his hometown and home street. Although he has been called "One of Wall Streets top players" Peizer has also exhibited a humble and modest lifestyle consistent with his Midwestern upbringing. It is believed that he still lives in the same condominium home he first purchased in the 1980s when he moved to Los Angeles, California
