Ted entered the digital market in the 90s as a developer working with small startups including 50Megs, Netcolony, Shop4Tech, and others in the ecommerce, free hosting and forums to develop their product offering.
In 2000 Ted became a partner in the ScubaSource Network where he was responsible for the launch and community development of ScubaBoard.com which would grow to become the largest community and website in the Scuba Diving industry by 2004.
After completing his Bachelor’s at the University of California, Irvine in 2004, Ted transitioned to brand marketing and has managed digital and social programs for companies including Jenny Craig, Monster Cable Products, BP Gifts, as well other B2C brands as a consultant.
In 2011 Ted and his former colleague, Andrew Motel, partnered to launch Giftery.me. An online service aimed at helping improve the experience of getting and giving gifts through the use of wishlists and personalized recommendations.
