Ted joined Charles River in 1996 and has more than nineteen years of experience in early-stage venture investing, focusing on software and information services companies. He has been an early and active investor in numerous successful start-ups including several that had successful IPOs (Acusphere, Be Free, Entelos, Flycast, Ibis Technology, Individual, NetGenesis, Software Quality Automation and Vignette) or were acquired on a very favorable basis (Brontes Technologies, edocs, Novera, PCs Compleat, Venetica, Upromise, WebSpective and Ximian).
