Tatsuki is the co-founder and COO of Vivaldi Technologies, a startup building browsers for the web’s most demanding users.
Prior to Vivaldi, Tatsuki held a number of executive positions at Opera Software ASA. He drove substantial growth of Opera through pre/post IPO. He was SVP/Head of Opera’s consumer business unit, which included Opera’s flagship mobile browser with 350 million users worldwide. He also developed and led Opera’s TV business, in addition to founding Opera’s offices in Japan, Korea and the United States.
Before he was bitten by the browser bug, Tatsuki was a mechanical engineer. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Kagoshima National College of Technology, Economics from Hokkaido University and, an MBA from the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business.
