Tamer Ali is the founder and president of Digital Ignite. His background is in learning technologies, developing platforms for Software as a Service (SaaS), and leading large-scale enterprise IT initiatives.
Tamer founded digital ignite in 2005 after serving 6 years as an executive of a public elearning company, VCampus (NASDAQ:VCMP at the time). At VCampus, Tamer Ali served as VP of Technology where he led all proprietary application development. He was instrumental in many successful new product launches, including award winning platforms for a Learning Management System, Course Management System, and Testing Engine.
Tamer’s current company, Digital Ignite, builds technologies that people typically call “e-learning” to help serve as platforms for knowledge sharing and social interaction for professional advancement.
