Tae Hea Nahm is a founding general partner of Storm Ventures. At Storm, Tae Hea has invested in Airespace Networks (where he was also the founding CEO, and acquired by Cisco), Berkana Wireless (where he was Chairman, and acquired by Qualcomm), Com2us (KOSDAQ: A078340), McubeWorks (acquired by Core Logic), and OSA Technologies (acquired by Avocent). His investment focus is in wireless, software, semiconductors and East Asia.
Prior to Storm, Tae Hea was a founding partner of Venture Law Group, a partner of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and a cofounder of Novera Optics. Since his first client (incorporating StrataCom), Tae Hea has advised and personally invested in startups in various industries, such as communications (JetCell/Cisco, Netro, Ramp Networks/Nokia, StrataCom/Cisco, Telera/Alcatel, Transmedia/Cisco and Xylan/Alcatel), internet and services (AtRoad and Sina.com), life science/materials (Connectics, Landec and General Surgical Innovation/Tyco), semiconductors (ESS Technology, IC Works/Cypress, Marvell Technology and Quality Semiconductor/IDT), and software (Access360/IBM and Gupta Technologies).
He holds an AB in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College and a JD from University of Chicago Law School. Tae Hea was born in Seoul, Korea. He serves on the board of East Asia Institute.
