Susan is the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel of Saturn. She is responsible for structuring and negotiating transactions with portfolio companies and for providing them with assistance in developing capitalization strategies and refining business models. She has twenty-one years of legal, financial management, tax and public accounting experience. Susan also represents Saturn on select portfolio company’s Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Saturn, Susan was an associate with Bingham McCutchen LLP, practicing law in the general corporate and securities area with an emphasis on structuring and financing new ventures, public and private offerings of securities and mergers and acquisitions. She has held several senior financial management positions in various early and middle stage development companies. Susan has also worked as an auditor and tax practitioner in the public accounting profession, completing her tenure as a tax manager with Ernst & Young LLP.
