Sunil Dhaliwal is the Managing Partner of Amplify Partners. He has over 15 years of experience as an early-stage investor and mentor to entrepreneurs.
His current portfolio includes AppNeta, Continuuity, Datadog, Fastly, Wibidata, and a few unannounced early-stage projects. Prior to founding Amplify Partners in 2012, Sunil was a General Partner at Battery Ventures where he spent 15 years investing in category-defining IT infrastructure companies such as Opscode, Netezza (acquired by IBM), Splunk (NASDAQ: SPLK), CipherTrust (acquired by Secure Computing) and @stake (acquired by Symantec).
In 2011, he was named to the Forbes Midas List, which ranks the top 100 venture capitalists around the world, the AlwaysOn Top 100 list of VCs, and Business Insider’s 15 Most Powerful Venture Capitalists on the East Coast. Prior to his work as an investor he was a member of the technology investment banking team at Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc.
Sunil graduated from Georgetown University with a BS in Finance and International Business.
