Sumit has more than 12 years of experience in web technology startups. Presently he is the CEO and Founder of BitRhymes, a social media startup focused on developing engaging social dating and casual gaming apps on popular social networks and smart phones. BitRhymes already boasts of apps with more than 7 million users and growing fast, signing up more than 30k users a day. Previous to BitRhymes, he was VP Strategy and Business Development at Monetize Media, the first internet TV platform with video intelligence. Previous to that, he joined Business Signatures as a founding team member and played a key role in every aspect of the business from product strategy and solutions, sales strategy and hiring the team, eventually to a successful acquisition by Entrust in 2006. Prior to that, he was member of platform team at Escalate, which provided order management and supply chain visibility solutions to retailers and an early employee in CRM division of Oracle Corp.
He has an MS in Engineering from University of Missouri and BS from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
