Stuart Barkoff is a member of the corporate team at GEF, where he is principally responsible for strategic opportunities and corporate development. In addition, Mr. Barkoff works with each of the investment teams on the structuring of new investments to be made by GEF’s investment funds.
Prior to joining GEF, Mr. Barkoff was an attorney with Arnold & Porter LLP, an international law firm based in Washington, D.C., where he worked principally with private equity and venture capital funds, and their portfolio companies, on a wide variety of acquisitions and investments. In particular, Mr. Barkoff advised GEF as legal counsel on many of GEF’s investments
Mr. Barkoff earned his J.D. and his M.B.A., with honors, from Emory University, and his A.B. from Vassar College.
