Passionate about growing and marketing innovative companies, Steven has been an entrepreneur since his early twenties and has developed several companies, all of which are successfully operating today. At ATDynamics, Inc., Steven primarily focuses on business development and marketing, while also overseeing the strategic development and general management of the company.
Prior to breaking ground at ATDynamics, Inc. opening it’s global headquarters in San Francisco in the winter of 2008, Steven was a grad student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where he obtained an MBA. During his time at Cal Poly, Steven developed the University’s first surfboard production department and founded the business school’s Entrepreneurship Department helping to establish several successful companies. Additionally, he was selected to spend a summer in China to develop new business ventures.
Prior to business school, Steven co-founded an adventure travel company, Kauai Experience, that is currently expanding into the remaining Hawaiian Islands and Tahiti. He also spent two years as working in as a film director for a television studio in Santa Barbara.
In addition to her MBA, Steven has two bachelor of science degrees from the University of California Santa Barbara where he graduated with an emphasis in island ecology. Living in New Zealand for a year, Steven worked with a local universities to research and develop artificial reef systems using GIS, to save marine environments and expand eco-tourism opportunities to drive local economies. In his capacity as an entrepreneur, Steven has won several business competitions and has been involved with founding many successful companies. In his spare time he is an avid snowboarder and marine biologist and a passionate adventure traveler who once spent six months living and teaching aboard a research vessel in remote areas of the Hawaiian Islands teaching marine biology and diving with humback whales.
