Steven Mitzenmacher is Vice President, Corporate Development at NetApp.
Steven has over 12 years experience managing corporate development for leading technology companies, including Business Objects (acquired by SAP), Informatica (NASDAQ: INFA), Serena Software (a SilverLake Partners portfolio company) and Yahoo! (NASDAQ: YHOO). In these roles, he has led the identification, negotiation, and integration of numerous mergers and acquisitions representing over $2B in transaction value, as well as several divestitures. In his last project at Yahoo, he orchestrated the spinout of Yahoo’s Hadoop engineering team into Hortonworks, a new company funded by Benchmark Capital. Steven also has extensive experience managing corporate strategic planning, partner and alliance relationships, corporate venture investments, and strategic initiatives such as Business Objects’ market entry into China.
Steven began his career as a consultant with Arthur Andersen after completing a BA from Stanford University and an MBA and MS, Information Management from Arizona State University.
