David Levinthal
Founder and CEO of Extendy, a startup launching publicly in September 2009. He considers himself a serial (web) entrepreneur and innovator. Formerly a TechCrunch writer that has a passion for web start-ups, viral marketing and the monetization aspect of web apps/sites.
His 12-year background in the web consists of starting several web start-ups, founding an Internet Marketing firm, and working in every role (PM, Sales, BizDev, etc) at five different web development firms, where I was apart of the dev/launch of hundreds of websites/apps.
He has a clear understanding of web technologies and holds a B.S. Management from Purdue University. He has lived all over the USA, but currently resides in his hometown of Buffalo, NY. Steve co-founded the organization of BarCamp Buffalo. In Steve’s spare time, he can be found at the gym, at a concert, having a good time, or throwing an annual New Year’s Eve party.
