Steve Chu is a founding partner of SIG Capital Partners, an investment management and advisory firm in China that manages Venture Star. He previously managed the Asian M&A business at UBS and the Asian corporate finance business at Banque Paribas.
From 1999 to 2001, Steve was CFO of NetStar Group, one of the largest network integration companies in Asia. From 1983 to 1990, he managed the corporate finance department and then the direct investment activities of CEF Capital, an investment banking joint venture between Cheung Kong Holdings Ltd. and CIBC.
Steve has practiced law with Brown and Wood in New York and with Baker and McKenzie in Hong Kong. He is a graduate of Yale College and Boston University School of Law.
