Stephen Dorsey, Founder and CEO, has over 30 years experience as a technology entrepreneur. Mr. Dorsey previously founded Micom, a developer of office automation systems, and grew the business through the startup phase to $200 million in annual sales and 1100 employees.
At babyTEL, Mr. Dorsey assembled a team that developed and marketed world-class products and services to tier-one Telcos and Fortune 10 companies. In 2000 he initiated the transition of the company from products to managed services and then positioned the company to participate in the evolving VoIP market growth.
Mr. Dorsey was honoured by the Federation d’Informatique du Quebec as one of the most important contributors to the IT industry of the past 25 years. Mr. Dorsey was the first recipient of the CATA Award for Industry Achievement in 1984.
