Stavros is the co-founder of mediaspot.me and was a TV producer on TVO’s current affairs program The Agenda with Steve Paikin (tvo.org/theagenda), often described as Canada’s Charlie Rose.
His work as a TV producer was an outgrowth of reports he did for CBC Radio while working in the former Soviet Union and an insatiable curiosity for the world that drove him to study politics and learn languages (he speaks French, Russian and Greek).
Stavros has worked as an international election observer in Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Moldova. In 2004, he was in Ukraine for the second round presidential election re-vote that brought Viktor Yushchenko and the “Orange Revolution” to power.
