Stan is a senior advisor to OpenView Venture Partners and its portfolio companies. Stanley also currently serves as the Chairman of Astaro AG, a network security software & hardware firm.
Until his retirement, he held numerous executive positions in IBM’s Worldwide Software Group, including Vice President of Planning, Vice President of Worldwide Software Sales Operations and Technical Support, and Vice President of Software Sales Operations in Asia Pacific.
As Vice President of Enterprise Software Sales, his team increased sales from $50 million to $1 billion in three years. Working at Astaro since 2003, Stanley leads the supervisory board and works closely with the executive management team on the strategic direction of the company.
