Stacy Stubblefield — globetrotting technologist, internet criminal profiler, ultimate fraudster denier — builds on two decades of experience conceiving and building internet companies. Stubblefield drives TeleSign's product strategy, and identifies opportunities for innovation. She currently works with the office of the CTO, ensuring that TeleSign delivers groundbreaking technology that best addresses market needs.
As part of TeleSign's founding team, Stubblefield conceptualized and developed the company's platform and patented technology. Stubblefield specializes in taking a product from inception through development and eventual maturity. She laid the groundwork for the launch of PhoneID Score as a first-of-its-kind product, which uniquely uses data from multiple sources to quantify the level of risk associated with a phone number, and produce a reputation score.
She is actively involved in working with TeleSign’s Knowledge Engineering Team, which constantly analyzes our data to dynamically improve our fraud services. She has also spearheaded development of TeleBureau, the first phone number-based clearing house for online fraud.
Stubblefield started her career at the tender age of 12, when she launched a successful website development firm serving clients that included eCommerce, client portals, and marketing websites. Since that time, Stubblefield has been an active consultant, advising Internet start-ups and consumer product sites. She also ran an engineering team at an Internet incubator which launched several fast-growing web properties.
Stubblefield holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
