Spencer Starbranch is currently assigned as a manager of device modeling for a Fortune 500 company in San Diego, CA. Spencer is responsible for developing silicon-based LPE decks, establish operational priorities, and allocate resources to delivery models. He is also an individual contributor on model extraction, CAD designing, equipment configuration, LPE methodology, and much more.
Prior to working in his current capacity, Spencer was a member of a research team at one of the largest ICT devices manufacturing companies in Sunnyvale, CA. There he was responsible for managing an RF modeling and RFIC measurement lab, and developed models for transmission lines and circuit design. Spencer Starbranch was also responsible for transistor chip testing and interacting with project team members in Japan and China.
Spencer Starbranch brings more than 15 years of expertise in both industry and academia. His areas of expertise include CAD tools like Cadence, Pisces, and Raphael, LAB tools like MATLAB, ICCAP and Maury ATS, and programming languages like C, FORTRAN, and Unix Shell Scripts.
Spencer Starbranch holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology. He is also a member of IEEE and an owner of several patents.
