QMedic
Sombit Mishra is the Founder and CEO of QMedic, a wearable sensing platform that provides behavioral alerts to remote caregivers. He has been invited to speak numerous conferences on healthy aging and connected living, including AARP, Aging 2.0, CareInnovators, and the mHealth Summit in Washington, DC. Sombit has 8+ years of experience in Web/Mobile strategy, product management, marketing, analytics, business development and user interface design. At MIT, Sombit was awarded the Patrick J. McGovern award for his contributions to entrepreneurship at MIT, which included raising over $1M in sponsorships for startups across health, software, and clean technology. He serves as a business mentor to hundreds of executives through the MIT Trust Center for Entrepreneurship and Sloan Fellows programs. Sombit holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a Masters from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelors from Northwestern University.
