Simon Montford is a British serial entrepreneur born in London and currently living in Edinburgh. He is CEO and founder of Vibio (UK) Ltd and Vibio Inc.

Some of his ventures were Corsellis-Montford Interactive, acquired by New Media Industries Group plc in 2000 and other top-level positions as director, in strategic marketing, product development, consultancy gigs, and is since August 2007 Entrepreneur in residence at Edinburgh University within the Artificial Intelligence Applications Institute of the Informatics School.

He Co-founded icollector.com in January 1995, an Internet auction service that was listed on Ofex in 1996 with a Â£1m valuation. Before the dot.com bubble burst, the company was valued north of Â£100million and was about to be listed at the London Stock Exchange. After the bubble burst, the listing was abandoned. Montford left the company in 1999 and icollector was purchased in 2001 by Able Auctions Inc.
