“Prior to co-founding Attentio, Simon worked with Cisco Systems in UK and The Netherlands in a variety of sales roles. In 1999 he joined Intel Corporation to start their ISP division in the UK, and later became “deal maker” bringing together disparate divisions of Intel for large sales deals.
In 2003 he completed his MBA in Vlerick Leuven were he met serial entrepreneur Per Siljubergsasen and in 2004 they founded Attentio. Attentio is an award winning search technology company that provides insights into social media such as blogs, forums and social networks; companies buy these services to understand their online brand and optimise communications campaigns in these powerful word-of-mouth channels. Simon has presented at over 50 events in the last 2 years around entrepreneurship, the business impact of social media and the power of word-of-mouth marketing. ”
