As Vice President of Partner Investments, Sherrick is responsible for the growth strategy for the partner organization, through investing in and advising consulting partners and technology companies (ISVs) building on the a salesforce Platform. He is looking at where salesforce.com needs to be in the future with the partner ecosystem and marketplace and does equity investing in partners along with advising them on mergers and acquisitions in the Salesforce market. Before this role, Sherrick was the Vice President, Worldwide Partner Management, responsible for the success of system integrators, consulting firms, VARs and resellers who co-sell, resell, implement and go to market with Salesforce.com.
Sherrick was previously CEO of Silver Tail Systems in its earliest stage and before that Vice President of Global Alliances and Business Development at iRise, the leading software company for visualizing business applications. At iRise, he drove expansion into new markets with IBM and SAP and substantial revenue in relationships with Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte and IBM Global Services. Previously, Sherrick held executive roles in marketing, sales and business development at Elance (acquired by ClickCommerce), Logictier, Cohera (acquired by PeopleSoft) and NetDynamics (acquired by Sun Microsystems). Sherrick began his career as a technology consultant at Price Waterhouse, managing the west coast advanced software engineering centers and leading the first web project for the firm. Sherrick graduated with honors from the University of California at Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Economics and Business with a specialization in Computer Science. Sherrick enjoys biking, snowboarding and scuba diving.
