Sheheryar Sardar is a lawyer practicing technology, venture capital, digital media and corporate law, having founded Sardar Law Firm LLC (SLF) in New York City. He has also published a book, Sandstorm. A Leaderless Revolution in the Digital Age, which delves into the role of a young generation transforming social media and technology as a critical tool during the Arab Spring movement. As a lawyer, Sheheryar provides legal and business strategy services to clients in a variety of areas, including e-commerce, clean technology, web analytics, venture capital financing, emerging markets, and social media. Sheheryar also conducts complex commercial litigation in New York State courts dealing with contract disputes and corporate negligence.
Prior to founding SLF, Sheheryar assisted Senior Counsel at The Coca-Cola Company in its Marketing Division, analyzing complex vendor licensing agreements and Fortune 500 corporate partnership contracts. He also spent time in-house at Scientific Atlanta - A Cisco Company, where he analyzed telecommunication technology licensing contracts and assessed expansion strategies of broadband technology into new geographic areas.
Shezi obtained international experience at the Prague-based law firm Kriz & Belina, where his work included cross-border biotechnology licensing and joint venture agreements. He also analyzed European bilateral investment treatises pertaining to government takings of private entities, resulting in shareholder dilution.
As a nominated board member of the International Trade Committee of the NYC Bar Association (Sept. 2009 - Present), Sheheryar also focuses on international trade issues.
