Shayan is Chief Commercial Officer at Bluwan, a wireless infrastructure provider that delivers massive amounts of capacity for next generation mobile networks.
Shayan has more than 15 years of experience in the communications industry. He has high-tech marketing and sales experience spanning business development, product marketing & management, regulation, channel management, industry advisory boards, standards and patent development.
A recognised telecoms professional, Shayan served as Director of Solutions Management at Amdocs in the Silicon Valley from 2000-2010, where he oversaw product management, marketing and business development activities for the company’s customer experience product portfolio. Prior to Amdocs, he held consulting positions at Nortel Networks, Clarify Inc., Telkom South Africa, British Telecom and the Hewlett Packard Corporation.
He joined Bluwan as Chief Marketing Officer in January 2010, and became Chief Commercial Officer in November 2011, adding regulatory affairs, sales and business development to his remit.
Shayan has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Sussex and a Masters in Managerial Economics from Grenoble University in France.
In his spare time, Shayan travels the world, blogs, and plays golf.
