Shawn is proud to have been a key member of the management team that developed the first location-aware advertising and real-time traffic data platform, which subsequently took Traffic.com (TRFC) public. Mr. Gunn then participated in the completion of two acquisitions ending with a $8.1 billion purchase of NAVTEQ (NVT) by Nokia (NOK) in 2008.
Today, Shawn is the Global Head of Strategic Partnerships & Monetization within HERE, a Nokia company. His responsibilities include the incubation of several multimillion dollar businesses, including the creation of a global display advertising business in 30+ countries and venue maps (indoor). He also has monetization responsibility of the entire Nokia owed and operated portfolio. Shawn’s team is the focal point for all strategic partnerships, acquisitions and business development deals.
