Shai is co-founder and CEO of heystack HeyStack’s vision is to disrupt online dating by giving users a dating platform that mimics what they already do in their ordinary life: meet people through mutual friends. We do so by using the power of social networks and address-Book information, leveraging them as a platform to meet new people.
Heystack’s initial client application which we introduced to the market allows you to discover single friends of friends, see what you have in common, view their photos and contact them through a mutual friend or directly from within the app, engaging in a rich interaction experience.
These challenges requires “heavy lifting” technology-wise. Heystack’s uses unique algorithms in order to index millions of records of “friends of friends”, find only those that are relevant, and create a scalable solution.
In addition Shai is a network and information security advocate having spent over 10 years mainly at Check Point and RSA, in technical and business positions.
He also teaches entrepreneurship, security, and iOS development in several academic institutions and is the organizer of PizzApp.
Previously Shai was co-founder and CEO of ConTrust, a VC backed startup that dealt with user generated content moderation and security.
Shai holds a Bsc in computer science and an MBA.
