A pioneer in the field of Computer Vision and Human Computer Interaction, Shahzad is responsible for CognoVision’s software and systems architecture development. Shahzad has worked at the National Research Council of Canada where he built computer vision interfaces. His development of the core technology behind Nouse, an application to control a computer using face tracking, has been showcased on CNN, CBC Newsworld, Discovery Channel, Silicon Valley North and New Scientist. Shahzad’s in-depth knowledge in the field of computer science and his experience with computer vision provides CognoVision with a tremendous amount of development expertise. He holds a Bachelors of Computer Science and Masters of Computer Science from Carleton University, and a Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
