Shaherose is passionate about open innovation in mobile and telephony startups.
She is currently running Founder Labs - a pre-team, pre-idea incubator for new mobile startups and also is a mentor with 500Startups.
Recently she was at Opinno, an open innovation network and also consulted at Ribbit (acquired by British Telecom) on various consumer products and market launches. Previously, she was Director of Product Management at Talenthouse where she lead the company’s product from concept to initial alpha launch.
Before that she was at JAJAH (acquired by Telefonica/O2) as the Director of Product Management and Marketing.
In parallel, Shaherose is perhaps best known as the CoFounder and CEO of Women 2.0, media company focused on the intersection of women, entrepreneurship and technology. She has led its growth to include tens of thousands of participants, hosting monthly networking events globally and engaging entrepreneurs and investors from top Venture Capital firms and Angel circles. Over the years she has seen over 300 early stage startups through Women 2.0 and has a strong interest in supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Shaherose holds a B.A. in Business Admin from The University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business and completed an international exchange program at ESADE in Barcelona, Spain.
