Shafqat is the co-founder and CEO of NewsCred, an online news reader that aggregates the world’s most credible news from your favorite sources. He was previously a VP of Technology at Merrill Lynch. He graduated with a BSE in Computer Engineering and a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. NewsCred is his first startup. He lives in Geneva, Switzerland with his wife and their cat, Mango.
