Person Details


Sebastien has 16 years of private equity, operations and financial management experience. Prior to founding Next World Capital, Sebastien was a Director of the Halley Group, the leading investor behind the world’s second largest retailer, Carrefour. Earlier, he worked in e-commerce software product management and business development at Oracle, eShop, Intershop and Microsoft. Sebastien also co-founded one of Europe’s leading parenting web sites, and began his career in marketing at Coca-Cola.

On the personal side, Sebastien keeps trying to balance his life between NWC, his wife Julie, his four kids and a bit of exercise.

Sebastien holds bachelors and masters degrees from Paris-Dauphine University, a masters degree in management from Stanford University where he was a Sloan Fellow, and a post-masters degree in quantitative marketing from IAE, Aix-en-Provence.
