Entrepreneur + Co-Founder at BillFloat
Sean directs product strategy, product management, and design for BillFloat. Prior to co-founding BillFloat, he was an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Venrock, where he managed the Quarry, the firm’s launch pad for new concepts and market opportunities. Sean joined Venrock in 2007 from Yahoo! where he served as director of products on Messenger, to director of international product operations for Yahoo! products around the globe. Prior to Yahoo!, Sean served in product roles for various start-ups including Sylantro Systems, a telecom software company, and Pandesic, an Internet company spin-off of Intel and SAP. Sean earned an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and he also served as co-chair of the MIT/Stanford Venture Laboratory. He completed his B.A. in quantitative economics at Stanford University where he was also editor of The Stanford Economics Journal.
