Sean Downs is chief executive officer of Enclarity, Inc., an information management and analytic software company focused on the healthcare market. In 2001, Sean co-founded a non-profit public charity, the Sumba Foundation, dedicated to providing health services and humanitarian aid to the indigenous people of Sumba, Indonesia (www.sumbafoundation.org). He currently serves as president and director for the Sumba Foundation.
Before founding Enclarity, Sean was vice president and market unit leader for healthcare and insurance solutions with FICO (NYSE: FIC), overseeing the company’s medical bill review, insurance analytics, software development, sales and marketing operations. Under his leadership, the division grew to approximately $90 million a year in revenue.
Previously, Sean was president, Insurance Solutions of HNC Software Inc., which merged with FICO in 2002. He played a role in building strategic alliances with organizations such as EDS, Insurance Services Office (ISO) and First Health.
