Sean Copeland is a certified marketing research professional known for his broad experiences with the research workflow and for building effective relationships among an extensive network of clients. Over the past 5 years Sean has developed, sold, executed, and managed hundreds of consumer research studies using a mix of new and more traditional qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Sean has provided actionable insights and advice to B2C and B2B clients in media and content delivery, public relations and corporate communications, travel and tourism, human capital solutions, consumer goods, financial services, among others. Always trying to find better ways to provide better answers, Sean has developed a sophisticated understanding of and the ability to carry out advanced data analysis such as factor analysis, cluster analysis, multiple regression analysis, conjoint analysis, and ROI conversion formulas to provide deeper and more valuable insights to his clients.
Sean is a graduate of the MRIA recognized Research Analyst Post-graduate Program (RAPP) at Georgian College. The RAP program teaches students marketable and employable skills specifically for a career in either applied social or marketing research. With a focus on providing strategic insights, Sean spent several years working for well-known research companies in Canada, including R.A. Malatest & Associates, Ipsos Reid and Environics Research Group.
In 2011 Sean obtained the Certified Marketing Research Professional (CMRP) designation by completing the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association’s (MRIA) examination process. This designation signifies a high level of knowledge and capability in marketing research theory and practice, a commitment to continued professional development, and adherence to rigorous ethical standards set out in MRIA’s Code of Conduct and Good Practice.
