Seamus McAteer is an entrepreneur and technology analyst with over 20 years experience building companies in the online media and mobile technology sectors. He joined Millennial Media as SVP of Data and Analytics through the acquisition of Metaresovler where he was co-founder and CEO. Metaresolver built a media buying platform that supported tighter targeting of mobile advertising through the use of proprietary analytics.
Seamus defined the market for mobile media intelligence. He founded M:Metrics, and served as chief product architect and board member through its sale to Comscore. Seamus was an independent board member at mobile analytics start-up Motally, acquired by Nokia, and mobile audience metrics firm Zokem where he assisted with its sale to Arbitron. As managing director in charge of the market research business at Majestic Research, he oversaw the creation of a currency dataset used by the majority of mobile handset companies. Seamus headed technology coverage as research fellow at Jupiter Communications and oversaw mobile technology coverage as an analyst at SRI International.
