Scott Silverman is Co-Founder and VP, Marketing at Ifeelgoods. Silverman joined Ifeelgoods in August 2010. Previously, he was Executive Director of Shop.org, the National Retail Federation’s digital division and the world’s leading membership community for digital retail. During his tenure there, Silverman launched Shop.org’s Annual Summit, the premier event for the digital retail and was part of the team that coined the term “Cyber Monday,” which has become the biggest event of the year for online retailers. Additionally, he created Shop.org’s Ray M. Greenly Scholarship Fund to help students pursue careers in e-commerce, along with a fund-raising business model that has led to the fund surpassing $1.4 million in four years.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Silverman is sought after for his insights and opinions about the digital retail industry. He speaks frequently to retail executives and the press and has been quoted in major news outlets including USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, NPR, BusinessWeek and The Washington Post. He has also appeared on The Today Show, CNN’s American Morning, CNBC’s Squawk Box, and The CBS Early Show to discuss online retail trends.
