Scott Reismanis is a web entrepreneur and the founder of DBolical, a network of websites focused on the development of PC games and Desura a digital distribution app for PC games.
Reismanis attended Swinburne University (Bachelor of IT, 2003) and worked as an IT consultant for Accenture, from 2004 to 2006. In 2007 he founded DBolical and commercially launched ModDB (later joined by IndieDB) a community driven game development site, which connects the creators of games and mods with the players. Today ModDB is the largest website for developers and players who want to create and play something different, counting over 3.3 million unique visitors each month.
In 2010 he launched Desura a community driven digital distribution service for PC gamers. Desura provides an "app store" like interface, with free and paid for content from publishers, available for gamers to buy and play. In 2013 Desura was acquired by Linden Lab for an undisclosed sum, and Scott Reismanis joined their executive group as Director of Digital.
