Scott’s career started as an electronic technician, repairing computer hardware. Repairing hardware provided opportunities to develop simple software testing applications that eventually lead to a position in software quality assurance. Software QA eventually evolved into a career in software development at DCA.
After leaving DCA, he developed software for Excellenet before being pursuaded to join DoubleClick as the third employee in 1994 to help define the standard for Internet advertising. After an incredible adventure with DoubleClick, he eventually left to develop a home automation system for himself that eventually ended up as one of the few DIY solutions available on the Internet.
He joined ShopWiki to help develop one of the most comprehensive shopping comparison engines on the Internet today.
In 2009, he joined Kevin O’Connor in developing FindTheBest in an effort to distill the vastly growing disorginazation of information on the Internet into a source that is easliy accessible and searchable.
