Scott is the President and Chief Operating Officer at Brad’s Deals.
Prior to joining Brad’s Deals, Scott was the SVP of Business Development at BrightTag where he managed fiance and strategy in the early stages of the business and later built the BrightTag ONE Partner Program.
Before starting his career as an operator, Scott was an associate with Austin Ventures where he evaluated and executed venture capital and private equity investments. Scott was involved in a number of key early stage transactions including Whaleshark Media (now RetailMeNot), Innography, Mojopages, and Dachis Group as well as the buyout of Delta Rigging and Tools.
Before joining Austin Ventures, Scott was an associate in the mergers and acquisitions group with BMO Capital Markets and a business analyst in the strategy and operations group with Deloitte Consulting.
Scott received his BA in Political Science and Economics from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Scott is also a co-founder of the City Year Chicago Associate Board and served as its Chairman for three years.
