Scott Ferreira is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of MySocialCloud. Having dedicated an enormous amount of time and energy over the past few years, Scott is absolutely thrilled to see MySocialCloud become a reality.
Before MySocialCloud, Scott was involved with co-founding a non-profit called Open Table (www.theopentable.org), where he still serves on the Executive Board as an advisor. Scott has also worked with several different on-and off-line projects, the most notable of which was the creation of software called JomSocial for the Joomla! content management system (http://www.jomsocial.com/), based in Malaysia. Scott’s abundance of web-based and business knowledge has powered MySocialCloud since day one.
In addition to his own personal experience, Scott enjoys continuing to build and maintain an ever-growing professional network. Scott also loves working with other startup companies to create valuable partnerships.
Currently, Scott is a student at the University of Southern California seeking his Bachelors of Architecture. Scott notes that architecture is not just about designing a building—it is about creating a space in which people live, interact, and dream—and the often unconscious connection between a building and its occupants’ experience of reality. Scott hopes that MySocialCloud will be a virtual building—a tool that will give structure and stability to the often chaotic web experience, allowing the truly amazing potential of the internet community to flourish more readily. With both MySocialCloud and architecture, Scott is creating a unique experience for the user and a space for interaction. Scott also believes that business should be more than just business, and his relentless determination to giving back has been infused in MySocialCloud from day one.
